PTO
Paid time off (also known as PTO or personal time off) is compensated time away from work, provided to our salaried employees by Whitetree, LLC. PTO absences include, vacation time, and personal time. "Sick days," or absence due to illness is covered below.
Paid time off is not the same as maternity leave, FMLA leave, furlough, unpaid leave, closures of the business by Whitetree, LLC. or any other government-mandated or state-mandated leave, unless otherwise stated by your manager.
Our Traditional PTO policy provides two (2) weeks (10 Business Days) PTO to new employees, to be used within the course of that same year. Total annual PTO for an employee increases to three (3) weeks (15 Business Days) after the completion of their first two consectuive years of emplyment at Whitetree, LLC. PTO balances are tracked by your manager.

PTO days do not carry over from one calendar year to the next, and therefore must be used within the same calendar year they were issued.
You must request PTO via the RTO Form on the page preceeding this one, at http://www.whitetreemedia.com/PTOform and must be accompanied by a phone call or text message to your manager, to bring their attention to the matter. PTO days must be requested no later than 2 weeks (10 business days) prior to the first day requested off.
Absence Due to Illness (Sick Days)
In addition to 2 weeks PTO, Whitetree, LLC allows salaried employees Sick Days as needed. Since each employee health may differ from year to year, and from employee to employee, these days are approved on a case-by-case basis.

You may request up to and including 6 paid Sick Days during your first year of emloyment. After the completion of your first year of employment, you may request up to and including 10 paid Sick Days.

You may request Sick Days via phone, or text. Please, accompany email requests with a phone call or text message.
